Glen Leverson joins Northland College's Athletic Hall of Fame for his contributions to Northland Basketball as a student athlete in the 1980's. Leverson helped the 1985 team win the consolation championship at the National Little College Athletic Association (NLCAA) National Championship. Leverson's basketball career at Northland included 1,331 points and a school record of 606 assists. He was honored with a "Sportsmanship Award" in 1985, "Most Valuable Player Award" in 1986, and served as Captain of the team in his senior year. He was also recognized as a National Association Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Scholar Athlete in 1988. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. degree in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. Memorial Scholarship, Orrin Marx Basketball Scholarship, Pukall Lumber Company Scholarship, the Wallace C. Hitchcock Memorial Award, and the Milton Gardner Award. Leverson was on the Dean's List and in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.

Leverson went on to receive a M.S. degree (1990) and A Ph. D. (1996) in Statistics from North Dakota Stake University. Originally from Mercer, Wisconsin, Leverson resides in Madison and works for the University of Wisconsin Medical School as an Associate Researcher in bio-statistics.
