Northland College Athletics

Daughter of Marv and Leslie, Ashley will be starting her senior year and second season with the LumberJills soccer team. She is a dual athlete and also a starter for the Women’s Basketball team.  She chose Northland for athletics and their strong science program. She majors in Biology and is planning on going to graduate school for nutrition sciences.

This past 2010 season Runge received an All-Conference Honorable Mention award for soccer, and has been Academic All-Conference multiple times. Her favorite color is Boston Celtics green, and she loves short walks on the beach with her obese chocolate lab, Sophie. When she is not studying or playing sports, she is usually watching The Office, so naturally her favorite quote is: “That’s what she said.” She would also like to take this opportunity to “give a shout-out to my favorite musical artist, Jav McGee, who has been an inspiration to me for the past two years.”
