ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Men's Hockey team continues its home stand as it hosts St. John's University on Friday at 7 p.m., at the Bay Area Civic Center.

Northland started 2025 off by hosting the College of St. Scholastica and Bethel University. Against the Royals,
Logan Gallagher netted his fifth of the season.
Gallagher is leading the Jacks with five points, all from goals. Freshman
Joe Weber has tallied four points on two goals and two assists, and three student-athletes have three points:
Nik Johnson,
Evan Ilkos, and
Mac Reed. Defensively,
Sam Holy and
Trey Taylor have blocked 25 and 20 shots respectively. In goal,
Dakota Meyer and
Andrew Yocum have split time with Meyer making 279 saves and Yocum has stopped 242.
After starting the season 5-1 the Johnnies are currently on a five-game losing streak. Coming out of the winter break, SJU dropped both its contests to Skidmore College (1-2) and Lake Forest College (1-4). Senior Justin Thompson leads St. John's in points with eight, consisting of two goals and six assists. Spencer Rudrud has a team-high five goals. Jon Howe and Bailey Huber have both started five games for the Johnnies in goal, making 168 and 156 saves, respectively.
