ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Men's Hockey team ends 2024 with a home-and-home series with the University of Wisconsin-Superior in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with games on Thursday and Saturday at 7 p.m., starting in Superior, Wis.

Northland went back to WIAC competition last week playing the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and hosting No. 13 University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The Jacks offense has been held out of the net for the last three games, though NC has been putting good shots on net. Stepanian Andronique led the LumberJacks last week totaling eight shots on target with seven coming against UW-Stevens Point.

Joe Weber,
Evan Ilkos,
Mac Reed, and
Nik Johnson all lead Northland with three points on the season. Gallagher has a team-high of three goals while Ilkos and Reed have three assists.
Dakota Meyer and
Andrew Yocum have split time in goal with Meyer saving 198 shots in five games and Yocum has 161 in four.
The Yellowjackets are 6-3-1 overall and 3-1-0 in WIAC action. Last week UW-Superior won both its games in overtime 4-3 against UW-Stout and 3-2 at No. 10 University of Wisconsin-River Falls. After last week's performance, UWS is tied for third in the conference with seven points. Senior Reed Stark paces the team with eight points on six goals and two assists. Justin Dauphinais is one behind him with seven coming from four goals and three assists. Sophomore Jack Bosechert has started five games for the Yellowjackets in the net and has a record of 3-1 and a 92.7 save percentage.
