SUPERIOR, Wis.--- The Northland College Volleyball team traveled to Superior, WI for the Subway Stinger Classic this weekend hosted by UW-Superior. The Jills participated in 4 games vs. UW-Superior, Macalester College, Concordia MN and Bethany Lutheran College.

In game one, the Jills took UW-Superior to 5 sets but eventually fell, (26-24, 18-25, 25-19, 11-25, 13-15). Elizabeth Mongomery led the way for the LumberJills with 16 kills.
Larissa Fossum, finished game one with 24 digs for the Jills. In game two vs. Macalester the Jills would fall in three sets (11-25, 16-25, 11-25). Mongomery once again led the Jills in kills with 6.
Alexa Zadra led all LumberJills with 11 digs. In game three vs. Concordia MN, the Jills would fall in three sets (17-25, 20-25, 19-25). Mongomery once again all LumberJills in kills (7), aces (2) and blocks (2).
Annika Herlevi led all LumberJills in digs with 21. The Jills would drop their final match of the tournament to Bethany Lutheran (9-25, 20-25, 16-25). Montgomery led all LumberJills with 6 kills while
Alexa Zadra finished with 11 digs.
The Jills are back in action on September 21st vs. UW-Superior in Superior, WI to open up UMAC Conference play. Game time is set to start at 7pm.
