Fisher, Josephson, and Rempp named to the CSC Academic All-District Team

ASHLAND, Wis. – Hannah Fisher, Britta Josephson, and Kodie Rempp on the Northland College Volleyball team were named to the College Sports Communications (CSC) Academic All-District Team announced on Tuesday, December 17.
 
To be eligible for the award student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), and play in at least 90 percent of the games or start in 66 percent of the games.
 
Fisher is a sophomore majoring in education with a minor in English. In her second season with the Northland, the defensive specialist totaled 142 digs, 15 assists, and 10 service aces. Fisher played in all 76 sets this season.
 
Josephson is a sophomore majoring in education and minoring in sports management. For the week of Nov. 5, Josephson earned Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The Mellen, Wis., native led Northland with 213 kills, had 269 digs, second most on the team, and added 13 service aces, nine assists, and eight blocks.
 
Rempp is in her senior year, majoring in business and psychology, and minoring in sports management. She started all 25 matches for Northland as the setter, totaling 372 assists. This season Rempp reached 500 career assists. She also recorded 131 digs, 24 kills, and 10 blocks.
 
Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Midwest Lacrosse Conference, and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
