Britta Josephson earns her first Player of the Week Award

Josephson records 27 kills on the week

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Sophomore Britta Josephson on the Northland College Volleyball team was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 5. This is Josephson's first time winning the weekly award.
 
Britta Josephson played a key role in Northland's win over Crown College on Friday. Over the four sets, she totaled 19 kills, a season-high, and 27 digs, a career-high, en route to a four-set victory. The Mellen, Wis., native hit .222 over the four sets and had three service aces.
 
Josephson tallied 27 kills, 35 digs, four service aces, and one block to end the week.
 
The Volleyball team enters their final week of play as they travel to Bethany Lutheran College and Martin Luther College on Friday and Saturday.
 
Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Midwest Lacrosse Conference, and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
