Northland College has announced that the Men's and Women's Hockey teams will join the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the 2019-20 season.

Both teams currently compete in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association and the 2018-19 season will mark the final year as NCHA members. 

The LumberJacks will join UW-Superior, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Eau Claire and UW-Stout in 2019-20. The LumberJills will join UW-Superior, UW-River Falls, UW-Eau Claire and UW-Stevens Point as official WIAC members. 

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution, located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 15 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.
