MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Northland College (1-10-1, 1-7 NCHA) faced MSOE (6-4, 4-4 NCHA) today to end the weekend series. Unable to find a groove the Jacks would lose this afternoon 3-0.
Northland came out looking to turn things around. The first period put a strain on the Jacks as two Raider goals almost made it feel like last night. With some determination these would be the ony goals in the first period. Coming out of the locker seemed to be just what the LumberJacks needed fighting to get a goal. They just couldn't get past the tough Raider defense. MSOE would score with seven seconds left to play in the second period. Northland would win the faceoff to start the third period. They had even more energy this period battling tooth and nail with MSOE. Both teams had solid defense throughout this period. The Jacks were unabe to get through the Raider defense for a goal and lost 3-0.
Northland will travel to Moorehead, Minnesota to face the Cobbers of Concordia College on December 13th.
