ASHLAND, Wis.- In a hard fought game, Northand College (0-3, 0-3 NCHA) was unable to find a way to comeback and ended up with a 6-1 loss against Lake Forest (2-0, 1-0 NCHA).
The LumberJacks started off strong against the Foresters only allowing one goal in the first period. Northland took many shots throughout the second period, but weren't finding any luck. As the game progressed it got more physical and intense. The third period proved to be the most intense and physical as there were four penalties.
Northland took 24 shots throughout the game. Michael Berens (assisted by
Chance Creger and Cody Spoonemore) would be successful scoring the first and only goal for the LumberJacks in the third, but it wouldn't be enough to comeback from a 6-0 deficit.
