ASHLAND, Wis. - Northland College (1-7, 1-5 NCHA) played hard tonight against the Falcons of University of Wisconsin River Falls (6-0, 0-0 WIAC) with a score of 3-0.

The Jacks didn't come out strong as the Falcons scored within a minute of the puck dropping. This seemed to boost the intensity for the Jacks, however, they were able to get 12 shots in the first period. In the second period Northland came out just as they left off, strong. It was a battle the whole time during the second period. Neither team was giving an inch. The Falcons scored late in the second period putting the score at 2-0. This takes us to the end of the second period. UW River Falls scored early in the third period. Northland had 19 shots on goal they just couldn't seem to catch a break as the game would end with a score of 3-0.

Jessie DiLillo ended the game with 25 saves.
