APPLETON, Wis. - Northland College (1-3, 1-3 NCHA) took on Lawrence University (3-2, 3-2 NCHA) this Firday evening. 

Both teams came out strong in the first period, as it closed the score woud remain 0-0. Coming out of the locker room they would remain at a deadlock until LumberJack Michael Berens (assisted byDarius Cole and Karson Kuntz) would come up with Northand's first goal for the night. Steve Hughes would answer back for the Vikings tying the game up 1-1. However, only a few minutes would pass as Michael Berens (assisted by Karson Kuntz) would score his second goal of the night and putting the Jacks in the lead one more time. Lawrence woud answer back two more times this period giving them the lead 3-2 at the end of the second. 

The Vikings scored once more bringing the score 4-2 with Lawrence in the lead. The Jacks fought tooth and nail to catch up, but they would fall short this time.

Northand had 31 shots on goal.
