Jacks continue road games at Carthage and Carroll

ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Lacrosse team continues its road trip as they travel to Carthage College on Wednesday for a 2 p.m., game, followed by a 4 p.m., match up at Carroll University on Saturday.

Over the games last week, Logan Gallagher led the scoring, netting three goals in each game. Brodie Trollop also scored in both games and Avrey Roerick found the back of the net against Lawrence University. Elijah Clark led the team with nine ground balls across both games and made 47 saves.
 
Gallagher leads the Jacks in points with 14 through four games with nine goals and five assists. Trollop reached 100 career points last week at Concordia University (Wis.) and has seven points so far this season. Clarke has a team-leading nine ground balls with Sam Lewis and Christian Shields following with eight and six respectively. Junior Trey Taylor leads Northland with seven caused turnovers. In the goal, Clark has 62 saves.
 
Carthage is off to an 8-1 record to start the 2025 season and have won its last two games. Last week the Firebirds defeated Cornell College 17-3 and CUW 17-11. Andrew Johnson paces CC with 57 points in nine games coming from 26 goals and 31 assists. Alec Gern is the team leading scorer with 33 goals. Junior Jake Williamson has started six games in goal for Carthage and has made 57 saves and has a 6-1 record.
 
Carroll has a 4-3 record so far this season but have lost its two most recent games. Last week the Pioneers were on the road at Trine University and Hanover College and were defeated 3-15 and 5-10 respectively. Sophomore Brady Conwell lead Carroll with 20 points with a team-high 10 points and 10 assists. Junior Jake Gehl has started all seven games in net and has totaled 72 saves.
 
Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
