APPLETON, Wis. – The Northland College Lacrosse team was defeated 22-5 on the road against Lawrence University Saturday evening in Appleton, Wis.

Lawrence scored the opening goal a minute into the game.
Logan Gallagher would tie things up a couple minutes later with
Sam Lewis assisting him. Lawrence would go on to score six in a row. Gallagher would stop the rally with his second goal of the game. The Vikings would add one more before the quarter was up. Northland could not strike in the second quarter as Lawrence would score eight for the second quarter in a row.

The LumberJack defense held better in the second half, holding LU to only three goals in the third and fourth quarters.
Brodie Trollop got on the scoreboard, and Gallagher assisted on the goal in the third. The Jacks added two more in the final quarter, coming from Gallagher and
Avrey Roerick.

Northland totaled 11 shots on goal with five finding the back of the net. Gallagher led the scoring with three goals, and Trollop and Roerick netted one. Lewis,
Christian Shields, and
Sam Holy paced NC with three groundballs.
Seth Jones had a team-high two caused turnovers.
Elijah Clark made 22 saves in the contest.

The LumberJacks have their next game on March 19 at Carthage College with a 2 p.m. start time.
