LumberJacks on the road for a pair of games

ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Lacrosse team hits the road for the first time this season as they travel to Concordia University (Wis.) on Wednesday for a 3 p.m. game, followed by a 1 p.m., game at Lawrence University on Saturday.

Last week, the LumberJacks started their season by hosting Lawrence. Northland fell in the contest, but Brodie Trollop and Logan Gallagher led the team in scoring, each netting three goals. Elijah Clarke was in net and made 15 saves.
 
The Falcons have started the 2025 season at 0-3, falling in their most recent contest, 19-12, to North Central College. Last season, CUW had a 13-6 record and was 7-1 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. Max Esposito leads the team in points with 17 on seven goals and 10 assists. Esposito and Gio Nowotarski pace CUW with seven goals. Nolan O'Malley has started two games in goal, totaling 32 saves, and Travis Marquardt played in one and had 17 saves.
 
Lawrence won its first game of the season to improve to 1-3. The Vikings bested Northland on Sunday with a 24-8 result. Judah Goehring and Emmett Eischens have a team-high 12 points with Goehring scoring 12 goals and Eischens having four goals and eight assists. Gavin Reiter has started all four games in goal for Lawrence and has made 46 saves.
 
Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
