ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Northland College Women's Basketball team fell 98-35 in its final road game of the season to the University of Northwestern in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night in St. Paul, Minn.

After a three-pointer by Northwestern to open the game,
Hanna Hoskin scored the first points for the LumberJills. It took a while before Northland converted its next shot, as the Eagles began to pull away.
Kodie Rempp hit a triple late in the quarter to get the scoring going.
Hannah Peel ended the scoring for Northland in the quarter with a layup.

Hoskin connected from behind the arc for the first points of the second quarter for the Jills.
Leah Allan added a triple, and
Britta Josephson contributed a layup and a free throw to close out the first half.

Hoskin hit her second three-pointer of the game to start the second half for Northland. Josephson later scored another layup. Allan added two points in the paint, and Peel finished the scoring for the quarter with a pair of free throws.

Northland started the final quarter with two quick threes from Josephson and Peel. After a stretch without scoring, Hoskin hit another three-pointer. Josephson had the final point for Northland with a free throw.

Hoskin led the team with 11 points, including three shots from behind the arc. Josephson followed with nine points. Peel and Allan contributed seven and five points, respectively, while Rempp scored three. On the defensive side, Peel grabbed nine rebounds, with Josephson pulling down eight. Rempp added two blocks in the contest.

Northland ends its season on Saturday when they host Martin Luther College at 4:45 p.m.
