PRESCOTT, Wis. – The Northland College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams ran their first race of the season at the River Town Twilight hosted by the University of Wisconins-River Falls.
Brandon Faber and
Morgan Hockemeyer led Northland in their respective races.

The University of Minnesota Duluth won the meet on the men's and women's sides. Jack VanKempen from Minnesota Duluth won the men's 8k race with a time of 25:26.6 and Hannah Preisser of Carleton College won the 6k women's race with a time of 21:55.0.

Northland had six runners compete in its opening meet on the men's and women's side. Faber posted a time of 34:50 to lead Northland's men's team and Hockemeyer paced the women's team with a time of 35:07.5.
