MEQUON, Wis. – The Northland College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at the Wisconsin Private School Championships Saturday in Mequon, Wis. Junior

Hayla Woody led Northland in their respective races.

The hosts Concordia University (Wis.) won on both the men's and women's sides. Timmy Brey and Ainara Sainz De Rozas from CUW each took home the individual titles. Northland had five runners compete as individuals at the meet with two on the men's side and three for the women.

Uehling finished with a time of 35:00.3 to place 59
th in the 8k.
Logan Gray-Ives in his first collegiate race finished in 61
st at 36:28.6. Â On the women's side Woody and
Madi Kirn each made their collegiate debut. Woody led the team in 84
th with a time of 36:08.6 in the 6k.
Madie Linka finished in 86
th at 36:44.9 and Kirn finished one place behind with a time of 37:29.9.

Northland will compete next at the Upper Midwest Athletic Confernce Championship in Winthrop, Minn., on Nov. 2.
