WINTHROP, Minn. – The Northland College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams ran at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championships in Winthrop, Minn., Saturday morning. Junior
Brandon Faber and sophomore
Lillian Beske lead Northland in their respective races.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior won both team titles at the UMAC Championships. Ella Dufault from Crown College placed first in the women's 6k race and Aidan Doherty of UW-Superior won the men's 8k race. Northland placed seventh on the women's side and the men had three runners compete as individuals.

Beske had her best race of the season at 34:20.2 and behind her was
Madie Linka, who finished with a time of 35:33.7 to set a new career best. On the men's side, Faber had his best race of the season at 33:36.9 placing 52
nd.
Thomas Szymanski finished second for Northland with a career-best time of 34:16.9 and
Teddy Uehling finished 20 seconds behind him for a season-best.
