Northland Cross Country ends the season at the NCAA Regional Championship

Cross Country concludes the 2024 season

ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams end their 2024 season at the NCAA Regional Championship on Saturday in Northfield, Minn. The women kick off the final day of action at 11 a.m., for the 6k run followed by the men's 8k at noon.

Two weeks ago at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championships, the LumberJills finished in seventh. Sophomore Lillian Beske led Northland at 34:20.2. Madie Linka and Morgan Hockemeyer were not far behind, rounding out the top three for NC.
 
The LumberJacks had three runners compete as individuals at the UMAC Championships. Brandon Faber paced NC at 33:36.9, his best time this season. Thomas Szymanski finished behind him, setting a career-best at 34:16.9 and Teddy Uehling also ended the meet with his best of the season.
 
Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Midwest Lacrosse Conference, and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
