ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Lacrosse team will play three games during spring break, on the road at Beloit College and Clarke University then hosting Earlham College on Saturday. The LumberJacks start the week on Tuesday with a 7 p.m., game against Beloit, then continue the road trip to Clarke with a 4 p.m., game Thursday and they end the week hosting Earlham on Saturday at 2 p.m.

To start the season the Buccaneers are 0-1 dropping their lone contest 7-9 to Cornell College. Last season Beloit went 2-12. This year freshman Ryder Story leads the team in goals with three with junior Will Palmer behind him at two. In net, junior Eric Seo made 19 saves in the opening game of the season.

The Jacks lead the all-time series against Beloit 2-1, winning the last two matchups. Last year Northland came out on top 10-7.
Brodie Trollop led the scoring with three goals and
Matt Maudsley and
Andrew Liwiski were behind him with two.

The Pride are 2-0 starting the 2024 season with their most recent win coming over Midland University 11-5. Last season Clarke went 3-9 overall. Matt Archer leads the team in points at 12 coming from a team-high seven goals and five assists.

This will be the first time Clarke University and Northland have played each other.

After dropping their first game of the season the Quakers have bounced back winning their next three games. Last week Earlham defeated Heidelberg University 3-2 in its home opener. Sophomore Ethan Upton is leading the team with nine points, six coming against Concordia Chicago. Freshman Braden Greeno has started all four games in net and has made 38 saves.

This is also Northland and Earlham's first time matching up with one another.

Last week Northland fell to Edgewood College 10-7. After only trailing by two at halftime Northland gave up seven in the final quarter to drop the contest.
Logan Gallagher had his best game of the season scoring five goals.
Rudy Ruegemer made his first collegiate start in net and made 21 saves.

After scoring five goals in the previous week Gallagher leads the team in points with eight, seven coming from goals. Trollop is behind him with six then they're six student-athletes with two points.
George Haigley is the only other LumberJack with multiple goals with two. All three goalies for Northland have started a game with
Tony Donaldson leading the team with 25 saves.
