ASHLAND, Wis.--- Northland College Athletics is excited to announce that
Aaron Blanchard has been named the next Head Women's Soccer Coach at Northland College.
"We are very excited to name Coach Blanchard the next Head Coach of LumberJill Soccer" commented Director of Athletics- Seamus Gregory. "Aaron has a strong sense of the day to day operations and who we are as an Athletic Department and institution. I am excited to see him grow LumberJill Soccer".
Blanchard joined Northland College in August of 2020 as an Assistant Coach for both the LumberJack and LumberJill Soccer Soccer programs. In the Fall of 2022, Blanchard shifted his focus to the assistant of LumberJill Soccer and was also named the Fitness Center Coordinator of the John Allen Fitness Center at Northland College.
"I am very excited to be staying here at Northland College for my fourth season but this time returning as the head coach", commented Blanchard. "This is an exciting adventure for me as I continue my coaching career. The LumberJill soccer program has come a long way over the last few seasons under Coach Dubois and we have a great group of returning and incoming athletes. I would like to thank Director of Athletics, Seamus Gregory for the amazing opportunity to continue moving the Women's Soccer program forward".
Blanchard graduated in May of 2020 with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science from UW-Superior and was a standout member of the YellowJacket Men's Soccer program.
