Breton & Craycroft Named MLC Offensive & Defensive Player of the Week

ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Midwest Lacrosse Conference announced it's weekly award winners for the week of April 10-16. Northland's Jackson Breton and Jack Craycroft have been named offensive and defensive player's of the week.

Breton, a Junior from Stoughton, WI, had his best statistical game of the season on Saturday in the LumberJacks important 7-5 conference win over Northwestern MN, scoring 4 goals on 9 shots. Breton currently has 11 goals on the season. 

Craycroft, a Sophomore from Ankeny, IA, helped lead the LumberJacks with 6 ground balls and had 4 caused turnovers in their low-scoring win against Northwestern MN on Saturday. Craycroft has 16 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers on the season. 

The Jacks are currently in a tie for third place in the MLC standings (top 4 teams make the MLC playoffs) and host Monmouth College on Saturday (April 22nd) at Ponzio Stadium. Game time is scheduled to start at 12pm. 

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Midwest Lacrosse Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
