ASHLAND, Wis.--- The Northland College Women's Soccer team hosted UW-River Falls this afternoon at Ponzio Stadium in a non-conference matchup. The Falcons scored two goals in the second half to pull away for the 3-0 victory.
With time winding down in the first half, it was the Falcons who broke through the 0-0 tie after a goal from Kassidy Mackie.

Nadia May, each had chances in the first half for the Jills but couldn't find the back of the net. The Falcons scored back to back goals to open the second half to go on to take today's game 3-0 over the Jills.
Elysabeth Lough, who started in net today for the Jills, played tremendously, making 18 saves.
The Jills are back in action Sep 14th at UW-Superior to open UMAC Conference play.
