2/9/2022 2:38:00 PM

MINNEAPOLIS — The Northland College Lumberjacks were selected 6th in the Midwest Lacrosse League preseason poll.  The Jacks are coming off a shortened 1-5 season and are led by Head Coach James Stumpo, who is entering his third season.  The Jacks have brought in 11 new players, ten of which are freshman as Stumpo has continued rebuilding program since his arrival in 2020.  The Jacks also return all but one player from their roster last season, giving them a solid mix of experience to lean on to go with their incoming talent.

The MLC's regular-season standings determine the teams that qualify for the four-team conference tournament, while the tournament champion receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
