UMAC Press Release

Jamie Colvill, for the third straight year, was named to the UMAC All-Conference 1st team, while Quinn Bieber was named to the 2nd team.  Nick Diaz, Harrison Tibbetts, Julian Swensen, and Jonah Evans were also named as Honorable Mentions.

"It's great to have six guys recognized by the league and I'm super happy for the players that are recognized as they've more than earned it," commented fourth year Head Coach Greg Gilmore.  "However, awards don't define us and our guys are hungrier than ever to challenge for the top spot and want to be the last program standing next season."

Colvill finished his junior season with a 6-7-5 record and a 6-3-5 record in the UMAC.  Bieber and Tibbetts, both Freshman, finished with 11 points each on the year while Diaz and Swensen helped anchor the team in the back.  The only graduating player to be recognized, Jonah Evans, finished his career playing a variety of positions for the Jacks and proved valuable at both ends of the field.

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Midwest Lacrosse Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
