Minneapolis, MN – The Northland College Lumberjacks started their weekend road trip in a positive way with a 2-1 win over North Central University. With the win the Jacks are 4-3 in the UMAC and 6-7 overall.
Jonah Evans gave the Jacks an early lead when he got in behind the Rams defense and calmly placed the ball past the keeper. Izaak Clarke added to the lead in the second half when he finished a breakaway courtesy of an assist from
Carlos Ponce.
The Rams scored one late to create a dramatic finish, but the Jacks held on for the win.
Jamie Colvill got the win in net.
