Biography

Jonah Evans is entering his third season as a member of the of the Lumberjack Soccer Program. The junior from Viroqua, Wisconsin attended the Youth Initiative High School.  His high school team, Driftless United, went undefeated his senior year.  He scored 26 goals that season.  For club, Jonah played for the Rush Attack. 

After a freshman season that saw Evans make eight starts in goal and three in the field as a centerback, Evans made the transition to forward and scored seven goals in fifteen games for the Jacks.  He scored the game winner on a diving header against Northwestern and sent the Jacks into overtime against Martin Luther by scoring a goal with less than two minutes remaining.

Jonah chose Northland College because of the size of the college, the community feel, and the Outdoor Education Program.  Jonah majors in studio art and creates a variety of pottery in his free time.
