Santjer & Bloedel Named to First Team All-UMAC

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference announced it's 2021 Women's Golf All-Conference teams today. Northland's Mikayla Santjer and Maddy Bloedel were named to the First Team All-Conference teams today after a very strong 2021 Fall season.

Santjer, who finished second in the UMAC in scoring average (86.5) was named to the First team All-Conference team for the 4th consecutive time as a LumberJill. Santjer broke the all time record for lowest round in LumberJill history on 9/21, shooting a program best 83 at the NCU Invitational. Santjer finished in third place at the UMAC Championships this past week with a three day score of 257, just 7 strokes off of medalist honors. 

Bloedel, who finished eighth in the UMAC in scoring average (91.3) was also named to the First team All-Conference team for a second consecutive season in her two year's as a LumberJill. Bloedel carded her lowest round this season on Day 2 of the UMAC Championships, shooting an 88. Bloedel finished in a tie for 9th place at the UMAC Championships this past weekend with a three day score of 272. 

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Midwest Lacrosse Conference and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
