SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Northland College Women's Golf Team finished in eighth at the Twins Port Collegiate in Superior, Wis., the event had two rounds spanning Saturday and Sunday. Senior Donna Jackson tied her best score from the 2023 season to lead Northland.
Augsburg won the Twins Port Collegiate at +87 over par across two rounds. The Auggies also had the individual winner in Avery Sawchuk who carded a 158 (+14). Northland finished with a team score of +452.
Jackson tied her best score from the 2023 season with a 101 in the first round of the year. In the opening round, she tallied two parts and added one more in the final round. Freshman Maddi Bliss shot a 213 in her first tournament with Northland. Senior Saleen Thepmontry improves 11 strokes between days. This was Thempontry's first outing with the golf team.
