BECKER, Minn. – The Northland College Women's Golf Team finished sixth out of eight teams at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Preview Becker, Minn., on Thursday. Freshman
Maddi Bliss led the team shooting 108 (+36) on the day ending in 28
th.

The University of Northwestern won the tournament shooting 348 (+60), eight strokes better than Crown College who carded a 356 (+68). Shelby Cash of Crown won individually at 11 over par and edged out Paige Johnson of UNW by one stroke who finished in second. Northland ended the one-round tournament in sixth out of the eight UMAC teams competing after shooting 507.

Bliss led Northland in her second tournament of the season to help lead Northland to its best finish of the early season.
Donna Jackson carded a 117 (+45) with only one stroke separating the front and back nine.
Saleen Thepmontry continues to improve round after round, dropping another 10 strokes from her previous best.
Yvonne Durfee made her season debut to round out the LumberJills. Durfee shot 10 strokes better on the back nine to end in 39
th.
