The 2019 season was filled with a lot of exciting moments for the Lumberjills.  Whether it was Megan Jordan's fantastic play in goal throughout the year or Kelsie Shields' strike from 40 yards out against Bethany Lutheran, the Jills had numerous big time plays this year.  They were on the short end of the stick in a lot of close games; however, the Jills have plenty of core returners to make the 2020 fall season a year to remember.  When asked about the 2019 season, Head coach Justin Sexton said that "although the season didn't go as well as we hoped, in regards to results, the players continued to work hard in practices and games. The girls showed great improvement as the season went on.  This will be an asset going forward as a number of players gained valuable playing time, which will give us a solid foundation moving into next year. "

Megan Jordan, a senior goalkeeper, was awarded Honorable Mention All-UMAC.  Her catlike reflexes kept the Jills in a lot of games, and she showed tremendous heart and grit throughout the season.  Megan recorded 212 saves and had an 82% save percentage on the year.

Kelsie Shields, a junior midfielder, was awarded Honorable Mention All-UMAC.  Her stellar play throughout the midfield, both offensively and defensively, provided a spark in every Jills Soccer Match this season.  Kelsie recorded 4 goals, 2 assists, and had one game-winning goal.

Coriander Dehlin, a sophomore defender, was a force to be reckoned with in the Jills' backline. Coriander was not only named Honorable Mention All-UMAC for her stellar play, but she was also the recipient for the UMAC Sportsmanship award. While she was a tough outside back, she also showed great character in every match the Jills had.
