The LumberJills traveled to the University of Wisconsin-Superior today for a conference contest against the Yellowjackets.

The Jills fell behind early in set one as the Yellowjackets would go on an 11-2 run to start the set. The Jills would put together a 5 point rally, but it wouldn't be enough. The YellowJackets took set one 25-9.

In set two, the Jills would keep pace with the Yellowjackets early, but would fall behind later in the set. The Jills would struggle to put rallies together and wouldn't be able to catch up to the Yellowjackets. They would drop set two 25-9.

In the final set of the night the Jills jumped on the board first. However, the Yellowjackets would be able to tie it up later in the set. The Jills' offense would start to slow, allowing the Yellowjackets to pull away late. The Jills would lose set three 25-13.

Caitlyn Severson led the Jills with 5 kills, while Vivienne Kallio finished with 4. Hannah Hitchcock recorded 12 assists in the match. Adrianna Galtieri had a team high 9 digs, while Severson added 8.

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.
