The Northland College Volleyball team opened conference play on the road at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minn.  The LumberJills fell to the Vikings in 3 sets with scores of 23-25, 21-25, and 16-25.

The Jills could not get the offense going tonight recording only 23 kills in the match.  Bethany Best and Camille Eastburn had 7 each.  Best also had 3 service aces and Eastburn had 2.  Setting for the Jills, Hannah Hitchcock had 18 assists on the night.  Jasmine Gomez again led the team in digs with 17.

The LumberJills will be back in action this Tuesday as they host UMAC Conference opponent UW-Superior at 7:00pm.  Northland will also be at home next Saturday, October 3^rd when they host Martin Luther College.
