EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Northland College Women's Hockey team was defeated 10-0 by No. 13/(RV) University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Wednesday night in Eau Claire, Wis.
The LumberJills struggled offensively only recording two shots in the game coming from
Julia Fussy and
Hannah Chady. The Blugolds did not have that problem as they would score in the opening minute and not look back.
Northland blocked 11 shots with Chady leading the way with five.
Zoe Laming and
Maddy Bliss split time in the goal, making 16 saves each.
The LumberJills will see UW-Eau Claire again on Saturday for a 2 p.m., puck drop.
