ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Women's Basketball team enters the second-to-last week of the season as they host the University of Wisconsin-Superior and travel to Crown College. The LumberJills begin their week by hosting UW-Superior at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, then travel to Crown for a 4:45 p.m. tip-off on Saturday.

Last week,
Britta Josephson reached double figures in both games, scoring 10 at North Central University and a career-high 16 against Bethany Lutheran College.
Hannah Peel also set a career-high against BLC with 23 points, leading Northland.
After her strong showing last week, Josephson is now averaging more than 10 points per game, with 10.2, ranking 11th in the UMAC. Peel follows closely behind at 9.4 points per game. Defensively,
Kodie Rempp has 118 rebounds, placing her fourth in the conference with 6.9 rebounds per game. Josephson is not far behind with 6.2 rebounds per game, placing her seventh in the UMAC.
The Yellowjackets are tied for first in the UMAC with a conference record of 8-2 and have an overall record of 12-9. Last week, UWS split its games, falling 69-76 to the University of Northwestern in overtime, then besting Martin Luther College 70-63. Senior Elise Besonen is third in the conference for scoring, averaging 16.0 points per game. Defensively, Charlotte Ferstl and Katie Dobson both have over 100 rebounds, with 119 and 108, respectively.
Crown College has an overall record of 3-18 and a conference record of 2-8. Last week, the Polars fell to the University of Minnesota Morris 51-64, then snapped their losing streak with a 63-54 victory over North Central. Sophomore Brayli Reimer leads the scoring for CC, averaging 14.2 points per game. Defensively, Isabelle Sager has a team-high 138 rebounds and six blocks.
