ASHLAND, Wis. – Kyleigh Moffatt on the Northland College Women's Hockey team was named Kwik Trip Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Athlete of the Week after her three-goal week.
In the series against the University of Dubuque, Moffatt totaled three goals, eight shots, and five blocked shots. To start the series the junior forward tied the game at two to start the second period. Late in the period, Moffatt scored the team's first short-handed goal since the 2022-23 season to put Northland on top 3-2. In the following game, the Winnipeg native continued to have success in the second period netting her third of the series capitalizing on a two-on-one.
The LumberJills play next on Jan. 24 as they return to WIAC action with a two-game road series with the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
