Hawkins steps down as Head Coach of Northland College Women’s Hockey

ASHLAND, Wis. – Head Coach Natasha Hawkins of the Northland College Women's Hockey team has announced that she will leave the program announced on Wednesday, July 24.
 

Hawkins was hired as an assistant in the summer of 2022. That season she helped the team win their first playoff game. The following season Hawkins was named the interim head coach. At the reigns, Hawkins led the LumberJills had their best season since 2019-20 going 5-20-1.


"I want to thank Hawkins for her hard work with the team," said Athletic Director Dan Schumacher. "We all wish her the best in her future coaching career."


A search for a new Head Women's Hockey Coach will start immediately.

Northland College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Ashland, WI. The LumberJacks and LumberJills sponsor 14 varsity sports and compete in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, Midwest Lacrosse Conference, and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
