ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Women's Hockey team starts its 2024-25 season by hosting two ranked teams in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday at 7 p.m., and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls at 2 p.m., the following day.

Head Coach
Jake Bobrowski enters his first season with Northland Women's Hockey. Bobrowski has found success at all levels and looks to bring his expertise to Northland.
Last season the LumberJills finished with a 5-20-1 record.
Kyleigh Moffatt finished second on the team in points last year and is making her return for her junior season. Northland has a young squad entering play with nine freshmen making up a majority of the roster.
In the most recent United State College Hockey Online Poll the Blugolds were ranked 11
th in Division III. UW-Eau Claire has played three games so far this season and is 2-1 thus far. UWEC dropped its season opener 2-3 to (RV) Saint Mary's University, then bounced back sweeping St. Olaf College in a home-and-home series 2-1 and 3-2 respectively. Ava Bullert and Ashley Wagenbach lead the Blugolds with three points from two goals and one assist.
The No. 1 ranked Falcons have continued their unbeaten streak into the 2024-25 season, going 3-0-1 to start the year. On Tuesday UWRF hosted No. 2 Gustavus Adolphus College. After trailing 3-1 at the end of the second the Falcons came back and won 5-3. Junior Megan Goodreau paces UW-River Falls with eight points on three goals and five assists. Junior Jordan O'Kane has started all four games for UWRF and has made 67 saves so far.
