ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. – The Northland College Men's Soccer team fell on the road 6-1 to Crown College in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play in St. Bonifacius Tuesday evening. Freshman
Noah Del Vecchio scored his first collegiate in the loss.

The Polars struck first with a goal 12 minutes in. The Jacks responded five minutes later when Del Vecchio ripped a shot from deep, beating the keeper far side.
Chris Gomez assisted on the goal. Before the half was over Crown added one more to take the lead into half. In the second half CC piled on with 21 shots and found the back of the net two more times to win 6-1.

The LumberJacks totaled three shots in the loss with Gomez tallying two and Del Vecchio having the other that found the back of the net. In net,
Rodrigo Chavez made nine saves.

The LumberJacks have their final two home games next. On Saturday they host Bethany Lutheran College with a 1 p.m., kick-off, followed by the University of Wisconsin-Superior a 4:30 p.m., next Wednesday.
