ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northland College Men's Soccer team was defeated 4-0 by Bethany Lutheran College in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon in Ashland, Wis.

The Vikings got onto the board in the 11
th minute after scoring from a set piece. For the remained of the half Northland kept BLC out of the goal and
Rodrigo Chavez made seven saves. In the second half, the Vikings added three more goals, shutting out Northland 4-0 in the conference match.

The Northland attack was held quiet, not recording a shot in the 90 minutes of play. Chavez kept busy in the net making 12 saves.

The Jacks have their final home game on Wednesday when they host the University of Wisconsin-Superior at 4:30 p.m., at Ponzio Stadium.
