Jacks held scoreless in loss to the Saints

ASHLAND, Wis.– The Northland College Men's Soccer team fell to the College of Saint Scholastica 4-0 Wednesday night in Ashland, Wis., at Ponzio Stadium.

Starting the game in goal for the Jacks was Tjaden Whisenhunt. He was tested in the first two minutes and came up with the early save. Shortly after, Kelan Cattaway had a few cracks at goal that ended up blocked and saved. The Saints and Jacks traded shots but in the 34th minute, CSS put one in the back of the net. Thomas Carey had a shot in the final minutes of the half but the Jacks still trailed at 1-0 at the half.

The first shot of the second half ended up in the back of the net. Keegan Chastey scored the second goal from a free kick in the upper ninety. Four minutes later Chastey scored again to put the Saints up 3-0. Kolton Frederickson had the only shot on goal in the second half for the Jacks that Liam Lothian saved. Right before the final whistle CSS scored one more time ending the game 4-0.
