MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Northland College Women's Basketball team was defeated by Mount Mary University 89-34 Friday night in Milwaukee, Wis.

Northland started the third game in a row with the first points coming from a three-pointer from
Tara Sandoval. Sandoval followed it up with a layup to go up 5-0. The Blue Angels responded with an 11-point run to take the lead.
Katelyn Altaha on back-to-back possessions scored four points off jumpers.
Kodie Rempp scored her first points of the game with a three to pull within one. Mount Mary ended the quarter with a three to go up 15-12.

The second quarter the Jills were held quiet for most of it with
Madison Mendoza scoring the team's only points.

Mendoza on the opening possession scored on a layup getting an assist from Altaha. With only five players Northland got into foul trouble in the third quarter. With six seconds left in quarter Altaha committed her fifth foul leaving Northland down a player for the rest of the game.

Only with four players Northland scored its most points in a quarter with 13.
Jojo Lowmaster scored seven of the team's 13 points, doubling her season point total.

Sandoval led the team with 11 points with Mendoza behind her with nine points. Lowmaster rounded out the top three with seven points. Ending the scoring for the LumberJills were Altaha and Rempp with four and three points respectively. Mendoza had a team-high four assists.

Sandoval ended the game one rebound shy of a double-double with nine. Mendoza and Lowmaster were one behind Sandoval with eight. Altaha and Rempp rounded out the team with five and three respectively.
