ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Northland College Women's Soccer team fell on the road in St. Paul, Minn., against the University of Northwestern 6-1 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play Tuesday night.
Greta Keffer scored her second goal of the season but it was not enough for the Jills to take the win.
The Eagles started fast scoring their first goal in the first minute of play and did not waste any time adding their second in the third minute. Northwestern pounded the net in the first half with 21 shots with 13 being on frame. Haley Mersberger and Megan Moeller both scored a second time in the first half to bring the score to 4-0. With the Jills first shot of the match, Keffer scored an Olimpico goal from a corner. Northlands' luck could not hold with Moeller scoring two more goals ending her night with four.

Alyssa Riddle, both on frame.
Elysabeth Lough had a big test today in net, tying her career-high saves at 18.
