Jacks Fall to Ranked St. Olaf

NORTHFIELD, Minn.--- The Northland College Men's Soccer team opened the 2022 regular season this afternoon in Northfield, MN against #15 ranked St. Olaf. The Jacks would fall to the Oles by a final score of 7-0.

After trailing 1-0 with time winding and momentum turning in the Jacks favor late in the first half, the Oles scored a last second goal to go into halftime 2-0. St. Olaf carried that momentum into the second half and went on to score 5 more times to take today's match over the Jacks 7-0. 

Jamie Colvill got the nod in net today for the Jacks, making 11 saves. 

The Jacks continue their tough non-conference schedule on Sunday afternoon as they travel to Duluth, MN for a matchup against St. Scholastica. Game time is set to start at 2pm.
