ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn--- The Northland College Men's Soccer team continued their UMAC conference schedule today as they traveled to St. Bonifacius, MN for a match against Crown College. The Jacks, who needed a win to secure a spot in the UMAC conference tournament next week, did just that, winning 2-1 over Crown for their 10th win this season and secured the #3 seed in the post season tournament, which will start next Wednesday. This is third consecutive season the Jacks have made the UMAC post-season tournament.

Marcos Gadea would get the Jacks on the board early in this one, scoring his third goal of the season at the 16' mark of the first half to give the Jacks the early 1-0 lead as the Jacks would take that lead into the half. Late in the second half, the Jacks would score the rare, lone goal to make it 2-0. With just three minutes left to play, Crown would make it 2-1 but it wouldn't be enough as the Jacks would come away victorious over Crown 2-1.
The Jacks would out-shoot Crown 21-9 in today's match.
