Box Score

The Jacks quickly found themselves in a hole as MLC netted a goal to open the scoring just 6 minutes into today's match. The Jacks would quickly respond as Jonah Evans found an opening through the MLC defense and blasted one in the back of the net. He was assisted by Nick Diaz on the goal. Just 7 minutes later and after a foul inside the box of MLC, Lee Dennis fired one into the net to give the Jacks the 2-1 lead and they would take that lead into the half.

The second half featured scoring chances from both sides, but after a red card was awarded to Northland at the 70' mark of the game, it set up a penalty kick for MLC to tie the game. Northland goalie- Jamie Colvill was however up for the task, making a huge save to keep the game 2-1 in favor of the Jacks. The Northland defense continued to stand tall and MLC was never able to find the equalizer as the Jacks would come out of New Ulm with victory over the Knights 2-1.

Colvill made 2 saves in net today for the Jacks.

With today's win, the Jacks currently sit in 3rd place in the UMAC standings with a 6-4 record.
