Women's Soccer Travel to Bethany

MANKATO, Minn.--- The Northland College Women's Soccer team traveled to Mankato, MN today for a UMAC Conference match vs. Bethany Lutheran College. Bethany used 1 goal in the first half and added 3 more in the second to take today's game 4-1.

Bethany used a flurry of shots early but Northland goalie, Elysabeth Lough stood strong in net. Greta Keffer found an opening just minutes later but her shot would sail high to keep the game at 0-0. Just three minutes later, Bethany would break through the tie to make it 1-0 at the 25' mark of the first half and would take that lead into halftime. 

Keffer would have another opportunity just minutes into the second half but would be denied by the BLC goaltender. Bethany would however find their groove with goals at the 57', 82' and 85' marks of the second half to take the match 4-0 over the Jills. 

Lough would make 10 saves in net today for the Jills. 

The Jills continue UMAC action tomorrow as they take on Martin Luther College. Game time is set to start at 1pm in New Ulm, MN.
