Hancock, MI - On Tuesday Evening, the Jacks traveled to Hancock, Michigan to take on the Lions of Finlandia University.  The Lions took the first lead, however, the Jacks had the last laugh in a 3-1 victory on the road.
 
In the 1^st period, the Lions took the lead in the first five minutes on a short handed goal, however, the Jacks would put an end to Finlandia's success from there on out. The Jacks showed a lot of grit the rest of the period and were able to put one past the goaltender with under 4 minutes remaining in the 1^st on a shot by Jackson Barrett, which was assisted by Jared Hester and Kalib Ford.  The period would end all notched up at 1 a piece.
 
In the 2^nd period, the Jacks put on a show.  The boys started hot out of the gate, and they did not look back.  Goals by Cameron Coutre and Brendan Charlton in a two minute span of each other put the Lions on their heels, and the Jacks were able to finish the period off with a strong performance.  The 3^rd period saw no goals from either team in a penalty filled stretch of the game.  The Jacks were fantastic on the kill and were able to win the game 3-1.  Gennaro Anzevino had a very strong performance in net saving 20 out of 21 shots on the night.
 
The Jacks will face Concordia College of Minnesota at home on Friday, January 10^th at 7PM in a non-conference matchup.  Let's go Jacks!
