Bressette Named UMAC Player of the Week

Lindsay Bressette, a Sophomore guard from Northland College, has been named the UMAC Player of the Week Award.  Her stellar play in the Lumberjills' first two games helped the Jills to a 2-0 start to the season.  In the season opener, the Jills were on the road in Milwaukee as they took on Mount Mary University.  They would end up winning by the score of 93-64.  Lindsay played a major role in the win by contributing 15 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals in 25 minutes of action.

In the Jills' second game in Milwaukee, Bressette played another major role in the 95-78 win over Alverno.  She tacked on 24 points for Northland in 33 minutes of play.  She also added 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal.  After hearing about Lindsay being named UMAC Player of the Week, Head Coach Daryle Tucker said, "I'm really happy for her! She has bought into our culture, and she has become a great leader. We have never been more proud of her."
